The portable model (mount included) gives the flexibility to store your Auto-Trieve and lure retriever between trips. Half the two-part mount can be attached to a seat pedestal, gimble mount, etc. with two zip ties. The other half is attached to the Auto-Trieve allowing you install or remove any time.
